Carnac Stone

Throughout Brittany in France there are standing stones, ancient monuments installed for reasons long since forgotten. At Carnac, thousands of the stones march across the fields in long alignments. Each stone has its own character and personality, having weathered uniquely over the millennia. Sometimes the huge stones crack and fall over, like this fishy one on the Rue des Menhirs near Erdeven, a few kilometers from Carnac.
