The Yawn

Somewhere along the trail in Bryce Canyon called the Fairyland Loop Trail, a creature was stirring. Awakened from a long slumber, the proximity of tender sunburned hikers tempting it, with a stretch and a yawn it settled back to continue its dry slumber, unfed, unnourished, unknown and unloved, but not unseen.
