Tradition has it that Venice has over 400 bridges crossing the waterways (which number over 175). While the weather can whip up whitecaps on the larger canals and the main lagoon, some of the back waterways remain quiet and calm. Here, the reflection of an anonymous bridge is slightly distorted by gentle undulations on the water’s surface.
