Pulled up onto one of the docks in the harbor of historic Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, a rusting fishing boat sat, slowly decaying. Trees were growing on its decks and there were huge gaping holes in its metal superstructure. But the colors and textures were worthy of a lingering study.
