Out on the Oregon coast is Garibaldi, a small fishing village about ten miles up the Pacific Coast Highway from Tillamook, the world-famous cheese center. The very active marina is home to crab boats, sport fishing boats, and a vibrant community supported fishery. Located out on the dock at the head of the harbor, they offer freshly boiled dungeness crabs and other delicious and very fresh fish. A few small tables are set out next to the steaming crab boiling pots. The chairs, made with a plastic webbing, held water droplets from a recent rain.
