Sauvie’s Bus

Located at the confluence of the Willamette and the Columbia Rivers at Portland, Oregon, Sauvie Island is a combination of wildlife refuge and farmland. There are berry farms, pumpkin farms, and many corn fields. Picking your own produce is popular on Sauvie, and autumn is a very special time to go for a visit as there are several corn mazes in addition to the fall harvest. Parked at Kruger’s Farm, an old bus, its paint peeling and scraped, sat waiting for its next tour of duty as a mobile beer stand selling Captured By Porches IPA on tap. So Portland!
