We were visiting the Decorative Arts Museum, located in the northern arm of the Louvre in Paris. The view across the Jardin du Carrousel at the southern arm of the Louvre was obscured by a mesh screen designed to minimize light coming in to the museum galleries. But to me, this slightly blurry image was of more interest than some of the 18th century objets d’art on display — partly photograph, partly impressionist vision.
