It was early morning and the Thursday market was already bustling in the little town of Domme. One of the sellers had layed out his wares which included these beautiful garlic braids. Perched high on a precipice above the Dordogne River in southwestern France, Domme offers views of the surrounding countryside second to none. On this early October morning, the town was in bright sunshine while the river far below was invisible in the thick layer of fog which blanketed the entire region.
