Brown Study
This still life was photographed under a tent at a Revolutionary War Encampment of re-enactors held in Medford, Massachusetts one October. Dressed in colonial garb, the participants demonstrated life in the military camps during the Revolution. Besides practicing their musketry, there were examples of period music and dance, medicine, and cooking techniques, along with displays of the kind of kitchen equipment they would have used in camp at the time.
