The setting sun casts its warm glow on this wonderful gasoline station sign at the corner of Market and Dutton Streets in Lowell, Massachusetts. Lowell has seen a renaissance over the past few years, its gritty industrial soul has been transformed into a cultural mecca with art galleries, museums, concert venues, and restaurants flourishing. But some of the flavor of the old city still remains.
