The westward view of Zion from the east is spectacular. On a crisp early October day, the air clear in the morning light, we walked out past the Great Arch to the Canyon Overlook for a last look at this amazing place. We had spent three days hiking in Zion and were sad to have to leave it. There is so much to see, so many trails to hike, so many vistas to take in.
