Big Anthurium

As we walked down the steep valley through the tropical rain forest of the Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden, the bright pink of this huge (about a foot long!) exotic flower (Anthurium Cupulispathum) popped out of the surrounding green foliage. The Garden’s collection contains examples of tropical plants from around the world, this one being from Ecuador.
