In addition to nearly all of the more commonly photographed buildings in the central business district, many of the houses in Napier are built in the Art Deco style. This one, high on Bluff Hill above the town, shows a strong Art Deco influence in the rounded shape of the stairs and the detailing, highlighted in red, on the portico.
