Rovinj is still a major fishing port and active fishing vessels line the main access road to the old town. One such boat, the Srdela (sardine) out of Rijeka, another port in Croatia, seemed to be all ready to head out on a voyage, its brightly colored fish containers prepared to store away the next catch. I wondered if the different colors identified different species?
