It is daybreak on the Vézère River at Les Eyzies-de-Tayac in the Périgord Noir region of France, the fog still rising to meet the morning sun. Through the mist, the arches of the railroad bridge crossing the river are barely visible. A few minutes later, the sun broke through the fog, and the warmth of the day dissipated all the remaining mist. The timeless quality of this image suggested a sepia treatment.
