Rocky Neck Hull

The rotting hulk of an old fishing boat was pulled out of the water for repairs on Gloucester’s Rocky Neck, out at the end of the peninsula where the dry-docks and ship repair shops still operate. Its hull had been scraped many times, most of its joints were gaping, and the original hand-work was very visible. Much work needed to be done, but still it was a colorful subject, rusty water oozing out of it like blood from a wounded bull.
