The massive museum in North Adams, Mass MoCA (the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art), is well worth a visit of day or two. Some of the pieces on display are huge, created specifically for installation in the gigantic spaces of this old factory. As we wandered around the grounds waiting for the galleries to open, I looked up at the corrugated metal roof over a connection between two buildings. With the lines of the corrugated sheets working in different directions, transected by a band of yellow against the blue of the sky, I was struck by this interesting composition.
