Horny Goat Pies

On a trip through the South Island of New Zealand we stopped for a well-deserved break at the lakeside town of Te Anau. The view across Lake Te Anau of the mountains in Fiordland National Park was stunning, but we were headed for Milford Sound for some sea kayaking. Te Anau is about halfway from Queenstown to Milford Sound, so a good place to stop for a snack. Perhaps some nice steaming-hot Horny Goat Pie? The Kiwis certainly do love their savory meat pies.
