Photographed at Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester, Massachusetts on a summer’s evening. The crowds of the day had gone, the parking attendants had left, the beach was relatively deserted, save for the reflections of the thunderheads glowing in the evening sun. The title is inspired by a poem, The Windhover, by Gerard Manley Hopkins.
