Calathea Triptych
The leaves of the various calathea varieties in the Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden display fascinating patterns, almost as though they were leaves within leaves. The variations are seemingly endless and are worthy of a more extensive graphical study. The painterly qualities are especially fascinating.
