Stepping off the train from Paris, we took a short walk in the Forêt de Fontainebleau, a short distance from the famous château of the same name. The rock formations in this forest are quite intriguing, some rocks having a surface much like rhinoceros skin. This rock was covered with colorful mosses and lichens.
